BEA Fundraising

It has been a busy term of fundraising at Boston Endeavour Academy with staff, pupils and families supporting a range of services, organisations and people.

We raised funds for the Royal Legion during Remembrance Day, whilst pupils from Enterprise and Atlantis classes visited Boston Stump to admire the display of poppies before joining the moving service at Boston Cenotaph.

During the same week, which coincided with anti-bullying week, pupils were invited to dress in non-uniform and take part in a range of activities as they raised funds for Children in Need as a sea of yellow spread across the school.

Moving into December and school staff have taken on their inspirational MAD (Mile-a-day) challenge, where each adult has been walking, running or jogging at least a mile a day, every day. Their ambition is to raise funds so every single pupil at Boston Endeavour Academy receives a Christmas present. Over £650 has been raised at the time of writing.

Continuing to encompass Christmas spirit, pupils were invited to wear festive Christmas jumpers on 11th December, raising funds for Haven’s Domestic Abuse Services.

The Christmas joy continues to spread into the last week of term as the school community is invited to bring in long-lasting food items to create Christmas food packages and parcels for families or to donate to the local food bank.

Along with all of these fantastic initiatives, parents have donated a hamper which was a prize in a school raffle, whilst staff have introduced a ‘Share and Care rail’ for families that are in need of clothing.

Well done to everyone, what a fantastic fundraising effort this term!
