Beautiful New Mural Brightens School Hall

We are delighted to unveil a stunning new mural in our main school hall, created by local artist Michelle Codling, also known as The Painting Lady.

Over recent weeks, Michelle has been transforming a plain wall into a vibrant and inspiring piece of artwork that now takes pride of place at the heart of our school. The mural has already attracted admiration from pupils, staff and visitors alike, bringing colour, creativity and a real sense of identity to the space.

The project was generously funded by the Local Hope Community Group, whose support has made this wonderful addition possible. We are incredibly grateful for their investment in our school community and for helping to create an environment that inspires our children every day.

Headteacher Jessica Newcombe said:

“We are absolutely thrilled with the finished mural. Michelle has created something truly special that has transformed our hall and brought a real sense of warmth and vibrancy to the space. The children have loved watching the artwork take shape, and it is already having a positive impact on our school environment. We are extremely grateful to the Local Hope Community Group for their generosity in funding the project and to Michelle for her talent and dedication.”

A huge thank you to Michelle and the Local Hope Community Group for helping us create a beautiful focal point that will be enjoyed by our school community for many years to come.
