🌿🐦 Froglife Visits Atlantis Class! 🐸🌳
Over the past two weeks, our Forest School sessions were extra special thanks to Rachel from @Froglife, Project Manager of the #BostonandBeyond Neighbourhood Wildlife Corridor project.
Rachel spent Tuesday afternoons with Atlantis Class, leading exciting activities on:
✅ Local wildlife & habitat creation
✅ Wildlife identification
✅ Bird Box Building
Thanks to the generous donation of bird box kits from #TheBostonMensShedCommunity, every pupil built their own bird box with guidance from Rachel and support from our Forest School staff member, Anastasia.
The classroom buzzed with excitement as pupils explored minibeasts like woodlice, worms, and millipedes thriving in our Forest School habitats. Soon, their bird boxes will be installed around the school grounds—helping attract and protect local wildlife!
💜 A huge thank you to Rachel for her expertise and enthusiasm, and to Boston Men’s Shed for making this hands-on learning experience possible.
📸 Stay tuned for photos of our bird boxes in action!
