GROWING COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS

GROWING COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS

Chantelle Johnson, Teaching Assistant at Boston Endeavour Academy, has been working hard to try to establish a garden area for pupils to plant and enjoy.

We are extremely grateful to Wyberton Wombles, who have offered to help us.

They will be visiting us in June to help staff and pupils clear an area and create a lovely garden for the school. In return, BEA pupils and staff will be helping their community by clearing litter so the Wombles have also provided us with 15 litter picking outfits and equipment, courtesy of Coveris.

Steve Slater from the Wyberton Wombles visited school on Thursday 19th May to present the equipment: “We are really happy to help the school with this project.”

This event kickstarts our own ‘BEA Giving back to our Community Program’!

From now on, during all school trips, be that a walk to the shops or a longer ramble, the new equipment will accompany us, and litter picking exercise for the staff and pupils will feed into eco-friendly studies and learning, and being aware of our environment.

Chantelle Johnson, Teaching Assistant, said:

“The school is so excited to be able to help our community and be able to give back. A big thank you to Coveris and Wyberton Wombles for the donation of all the equipment. We can’t wait to get started.”
